Booking

The accommodation is booked via the association’s user-friendly booking system. The system is designed so that there is no race for the most attractive vacation weeks. Booking is done quietly and calmly, so you don’t favor those who are quickest on the keys.

A family can’t expect to get the same weeks in high season year after year. Our smart booking system ensures a fair distribution of the weeks over the released periods when the houses can be booked, and a family that has had, for example, Christmas the year before, will be slightly behind in the opportunity to book Christmas the next 3 years. This means that our booking system delays the opportunity for the same owner to book the same weeks year after year. But there is access if no one else has booked. This is done to make the system as fair as possible and give as many people as possible the chance to get the weeks they want.

Every year, each family receives 12 keys per share, which can be used to book the accommodation. 1 week costs from 2 to 4 keys, depending on the time of year you want to book. Therefore, each family has a minimum of 3-6 weeks of vacation in the home each year, which is more than most people can use. Many CASA12 families therefore benefit greatly from being able to rent out their home – especially to their close family. It is not allowed to rent out the homes and earn income from them.

DISTRIBUTION OF THE WEEKS

Booking system

When the association is started, each owner gets 6 keys per share and the first 6 months open for booking. Every month, each owner is automatically attributed 1 key per share and another 1 month becomes available for booking. An owner can have a maximum of 12 keys per share in their account. Bookings are deducted from the account alongside the booking. An owner can own a maximum of 3 shares per home.

All owners are assigned keys at the same time each month. This gives everyone an equal opportunity to book the exact week they want. If an owner has booked a specific week before, the release of this week is delayed for this owner. This gives others the opportunity to book. 1st year, the release is delayed 9 days, In year 2, the release is delayed 6 days, and in year 3, the release is delayed 3 days. If no one has subsequently booked the week, the same owner can of course book again.

Booking of 1 week is closed 5 days prior to arrival in order to prepare the accommodation.

The property can only be booked for full weeks from Sunday to Sunday. An owner can book one or more weeks at a time – for example, 4 consecutive weeks or 4 separate weeks spread out over the year.

An owner will be able to book weeks that have not been booked by others without using keys. 14 days prior to arrival, weeks not booked by other owners are released for booking without the use of keys. This way, the homes are less empty and you as the owner can enjoy more weeks of vacation in your lovely home.

It is also possible via the booking system to sell keys internally in the owners’ association or exchange weeks if you do not have the opportunity to use all the keys or the vacation you have booked.

SHIFT DAY

Arrival and departure

Arrival is always from Sunday at 16:00. As an owner, you get your own personal code that gives you access to the accommodation during your stay. The code is unique for each owner and you will be able to decide your own code. However, the code only allows access when the owner has the house, so other owners don’t have to fear an unexpected visit from one of the other owners.

Depending on which association you have bought into, you will be able to choose between different welcome packages that are ready in the house upon arrival. This way, the family doesn’t have to rush out to shop for the first night and morning, but can enjoy the holiday 112% from day one.

Departure/check-out is no later than next Sunday at 11 am. We take care of cleaning and preparation before the next owner comes to visit.
