Casa Del Sole No 2 is located in a quiet little village in the mountains near Bagni di Lucca. The house is a genuine Italian stone house on 3 floors. This extremely charming house has a parking lot in front of the house with space for 2 small cars. From the parking lot you enter the entrance hall where the owners find a small wood-burning stove, perfect for the

chilly fall evenings. From here you enter the living room, where there is plenty of space for coziness and warmth. The house has 3 bedrooms. 2 are master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, both with a shower and one with a tub. One of the bedrooms also has a completely secluded private roof terrace with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

On the lower floor of the house you will find the dining room and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen, which includes a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine, is spacious with plenty of cupboard space and a large cooking area. The windows look out over the terrace. From the dining room there is access to 2 terraces on staggered levels with a fantastic outdoor area with a spa, covered dining area, sunbathing area and outdoor kitchen.

The house is located just outside Bagni di Lucca, which can be reached in less than 5 km. The coast at Camaiore is 50 km away. Just outside Camaiore is the famous resort and beach town of Viareggio, one of the Italian Riviera’s most popular vacation spots with endless sandy beaches and a stunning lido.

The airport in Pisa is 60 km from the house, and as Florence is also only 90 km from the house, there are many flight options.

If you’re into sports, the location of the house is also ideal. Italy’s 5th best golf course according to Golf Digest, Le Pavoniere Golf & Country Club, can be reached in less than an hour’s drive. Tuscany’s best skiing can be found in Abetone, just 40 km from the house.

At the same time, there are countless opportunities for cycling and hiking in the mountainous landscape. Not to mention the countless wineries in the area. Here you can enjoy fine wine and delicious food.

An unparalleled location

Located in the heart of one of the many beautiful Tuscan towns, Casa Del Sole No 2 is ideally located within easy reach of the desired airport, close to the Mediterranean Sea and only 5 km from the Lima River, which Italians use in the warmer months. Other great activities include river rafting, climbing and cave exploration. If you love gelato as much as we do, Fuori Dal Centro is well worth a visit while you’re downtown.

We recommend renting a car at the airport (Pisa or Florence) so you can easily get around and experience the area’s many offerings, the local market, the cities and the scenery of the mountains and valleys. It’s also convenient to have a car when the family goes shopping. The owners can park in front of the house in a small car (max width: 180 cm), as there is a small area with only 199 cm free space to drive through the charming streets of the town. Alternatively, park a short distance from the house and walk the rest of the way, just like the Italians do.
